Are the New Testament Gospels Reliable?

Mark D. Roberts has just completed a 3-volume online e-book on the reliability of the New Testament gospels.

I certainly haven’t read the whole thing yet (30,000+ words), but based on a quick scan, it looks like a pretty decent internet resource for Christians who are called on to do apologetics. It appears to be neither secular/revisionist on the one hand nor naive/anti-intellectual on the other. I assume that whatever slant exists is pretty much standard Reformed Protestant, but I really didn’t see anything that would get us riled up into an internecine cat fight. The contents are reproduced below.
