Sola Scriptura's God-Like Individual Interpreter and Orthodoxy's Communal Apostolic Witness

One expects the argument would be pretty similar for Catholics and at least some Anglicans.  Frankly, I’ve always wondered that if scripture was all that was required, then how did we ever figure out what was scripture in the first place?
